A comparison service. It shows what insurers filed and what their plan documents say, so you can decide. It does not decide for you, and it is not regulated advice.

What this is

vhishongkong.com and the MCP server at mcp.vhishongkong.com are operated by Instly Technologies Co., Ltd. They price certified plans under Hong Kong's Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme and quote the plan documents. Using either means you accept these terms.

Information, not advice

Nothing here is regulated financial or insurance advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy a particular plan. We do not tell you whether you will be accepted: underwriting is decided by the insurer when you apply. If you want advice, ask to speak to a licensed adviser and one will contact you.

Where the numbers come from

• Premiums are read from the Standard Premium Schedules insurers filed with the Health Bureau, including every version archived on data.gov.hk since March 2021.
• Coverage and plan terms are read from each plan's own certified Benefit Schedule and Terms and Benefits, and every value links to the page it was read from.
• Premiums are annual, in the plan's currency, and exclude the Insurance Authority levy.

We take care to reproduce the filings faithfully, but we do not warrant that every figure is current or free of error. The certified plan document and the insurer's own quotation prevail over anything shown here. A price shown is not a quotation and not an offer of insurance.

Rate history

Where the service shows what an insurer has done to premiums since 2021, that is a record of filings with age held constant. It is a track record, not a forecast, and it does not predict what you will pay. Figures described as applying an insurer's rate record to future years are illustrative arithmetic, nothing more.

Using the MCP server

• The open tier needs no key and is rate limited per IP address. Keys are free during the preview and carry a daily quota.
• The service is provided as it stands, without any service level commitment. Tools, tiers, limits and pricing may change.
• Do not use it to reconstruct or redistribute the dataset in bulk, to circumvent the rate limit or quota, or to present the results as your own regulated advice.
• If you use it in a product, name the source and carry the caveats above through to whoever reads the answer.
• All tools except create_lead are read-only. create_lead creates a real enquiry with a real adviser, so call it only when a person has given their details and asked to be contacted.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Instly Technologies is not liable for loss arising from decisions made on the basis of this service, from errors in the underlying filings, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
